Start with the form
The enquiry form is how to reach us. We reply by email to the address you give, either with a few questions or with a priced route that names every hotel. This page shows what to include so the first reply is useful.
How to reach us
Send the form at the bottom of this page, or of any page on the site; they all arrive in the same place. The main part asks for five things: what kind of trip, your name, your email, when you plan to travel and how many are travelling. The optional part lets you add the route, the number of days and anything we should know.
We reply by email to the address you give. If you have not heard from us, check your spam folder; replies to a new address sometimes land there. We do not publish a phone number or an office address on this site, and we do not ask you to call.
What makes the first reply useful
- The day you leave Ho Chi Minh City, or at least the month, and whether it can move.
- Who is travelling, with children's ages and who shares a room.
- Where you go afterwards: back to the city, on to Phnom Penh, or elsewhere from Chau Doc.
- Which route, or how many days you have.
- Your nationality, if you are crossing to Cambodia, so we can tell you what the border needs.
- What would spoil the trip: early starts, boats, steps, heat, food you do not eat.
If you have none of these yet, send what you have. A month and a number of travellers is enough to begin. Everything else can follow in the next email.
Good first messages
Some examples of messages we can answer with a priced route straight away:
- "Two adults, leaving Ho Chi Minh City on a Tuesday in late October, five days, ending in Phnom Penh. British passports. One of us does not eat shellfish."
- "Family of four, children 9 and 12, three days in early January, back in the city for a flight on the fourth morning."
- "One traveller, two days, any weekday in March. I mainly want the floating market."
What happens next
- We read your message and check the hotels and, if you are crossing, the boat for your dates.
- If something is missing, we reply with questions first.
- We send a route with every night, every leg and every hotel, priced per person.
- You change what you want; each version is priced again in full.
- When you are ready, we confirm in writing and send the payment details on the quotation.
The how to book page covers holds, documents and payment, and the pricing page explains how a quote is built.
Questions we can answer before you decide
You do not need to be ready to book to write to us. We answer questions about the routes on this site, and about the parts of the delta they pass through, as long as they relate to a trip you are planning. Common ones are whether three days is enough for Chau Doc, whether the market is worth the early start in the rainy season, how the boat to Phnom Penh handles passports, and whether a route works with small children.
What we cannot do well by email is plan a trip that is not one of ours. If you want a single day out of the city, a homestay night with a family, a luxury hotel stay or a long circuit through the Khmer pagodas and Ha Tien, we will say so in our reply rather than stretch a route to fit.
If you are already travelling
If you are already in Vietnam and want to leave for the delta within a few days, say so in the first line of your message and give the date you want to start and the hotel you are staying in. Short-notice routes are often possible on weekdays outside the holiday weeks; the five-day route also depends on a seat on the boat to Phnom Penh, which we check before we confirm anything.
Once your route is confirmed, your written itinerary carries everything you need on the road: the time the car collects you, the hotels, and on the five-day route what to bring to the jetty. Questions after confirmation are answered by email in the same way.
Payment safety and your data
Do not send card details by email. How to pay is set out on your written quotation, and nowhere else. What the form collects and how it is used is explained in the privacy policy.
If a message asks you to pay to an account that is not on your written quotation, do not pay. Send the form and ask us.
Common questions
Questions travellers ask most
Is there a phone number or an office to visit?
Not on this site. Send the form and we reply by email.
Do you answer questions before we decide?
Yes, if they relate to a trip you are planning. The destination pages and the when-to-go page answer the most common ones.
Can we write in a language other than English?
Write in English if you can. We will try to read other languages, but replies and guiding are in English.

Tell us about the route you have in mind
The day you leave Ho Chi Minh City, how many are travelling and where you go afterwards are enough to start. We reply by email with questions or a priced route that names every hotel.
